West Indies Cricket Board is set to un veil its 4 year long strategic plan titled “THE LONG RUN” to elevate its cricket in the international Arena by its working at the grassroots level.
The Plan has various goals and objectives that The West Indies Boards wants to achieve , which will run from 2024 to 2027. It is blueprint and road map for the development of West Indies cricket and is marks a Major Turning Point for the West Indies Cricket Board.
The plan was presented to the Board at the Board meeting in Antigua and discussed with shareholders at the Annual General Meeting.
Cricket West Indies (CWI) CEO Jonny Grieve highlighted the importance of this ambitious plan, highlighting that it was launched last year and said: “We are planning our strategic path over the next four years. Mapp is pleased to present “The Long Term.” “
The four-year program will develop cricket at the grassroots level and aims to promote growth and sustainability in cricket in the region.
Main objectives of the plan is to enhance Governance, Player Development , grassroots program, fan engagement and commercial partnerships.
