The spring holidays has been extended to cover the Eid ul Fitr Holidays 2024, and as a result , Educational Institutes in KPK will reopen on April 15, 2024.
The Ministry of Primary and Higher Education has issued another notification directing all government and private educational institutions to observe public holidays and remain closed until Saturday, April 13th.
Educational institutions have been on spring break since April 1st, and the start of new classes was delayed due to the break.
The beginning of the summer vacation is due to the lack of free textbooks, which the province has not yet provided to students. As a result, the plan to start the new school year has been completed.
Earlier, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced summer vacation from April 1 to April 8 for all public and private educational institutions in the province.
The government ordered all principals, school teachers and religious teachers to take leave during the election campaign to monitor the distribution of free books and ensure continuous recruitment of new students.
